Weddings
Engagements →What I love most about photography is the opportunity to capture authentic, raw emotion while meeting interesting and adventurous people. There is truly nothing like it. Add a little amazing natural light and you’re on your way to some beautiful photography.
I’ve been capturing weddings, family lifestyle photography and casual portraits for more than a couple decades now working primarily in the Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Napa, and San Francisco Bay areas, as well as all along the coastlines around San Diego and Coronado and everywhere in between.
Thank you so much for visiting my website and taking a few minutes to look at some of my photographs. I’ve been photographing weddings, families, milestones, and events for over 20 years. I know secret and beautiful photography shoot locations around Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Napa, the San Francisco Bay area, and the California coastline from Point Reyes down to San Diego and Coronado.

His parents are both outdoor, nature enthusiasts, personally and professionally and it is clear they have instilled that curiosity in Briar. Thanks to Rebecca and James for asking me to capture your family and to the Skalos family for the introduction.
Rylie, Class of 2025
I don’t know about you but when someone says “I’m going to take a year abroad” my mind wanders off into an exciting place; fresh exploration and adventure steeping in cultural uniqueness, interesting conversations, delectable food, and the general aliveness one feels while traveling and exploring new ground. Rylie, is heading to Germany after graduation and plans to travel through Europe on her “year abroad”—just SAYING that gets me going! She’s been in German class for the last two years getting ready and while she admits to a little nervousness, and believe me, we all feel that, she will be
