Veronica and Josh, May 17, 2025 Black Oak Estates
What a beautiful day this was for Team JV. Not only did Josh and Veronica tie the knot, surrounded by dear family and friends, they did it their way. It could have easily been 100+ degrees at this Sacramento venue, Black Oak Estates but it wasn’t. It was a sweet 80 degrees with a big blue sky and puffy clouds. My good friend Melanie referred me to Veronica, and we connected easily. Team JV wanted a big party, a small ceremony and a warm gathering for friends and family to celebrate their love. Ryan UC Davis, Class of 2025
Back in 2020 we had plans to do Ryan’s High School graduation photos but COVID got in the way and time moved forward in the blink of an eye, another 4-5 years to be exact. I was so glad when I got the call to get to capture another of Ryan’s graduations, this time from the University of California at Davis. I met up with his mom, Meredith and brother, Ian and moved around to all the great spots. What a beautiful campus, and the late afternoon light is fabulous. Kate, McClatchy High School, Class of 2025
Kate is part of McClatchy High School’s Class of 2025 and will be graduating in another week or so. What a fun time we had out at Sly Park Lake and Forebay Reservoir, chasing the evening light and creating a diverse series of images to capture her big, bold and playful personality. Did we have fun? You bet! She loves fashion design (go figure:), volleyball, soccer, reading, boating and hanging out with friends and family.
