Whitney and Spencer eloped to Sequoia National Park in mid-May opting for a simple ceremony that was just the two of them (and their officiant and photographer) and celebrated their love of that forest. Two weeks later they celebrated with a reception for all of their friends and family at Sierra Vista Winery where Whitney’s brother is a winemaker. Sierra Vista has a great space for events- a large, tree-shaded outdoor area with a stage for their weekly music events, a large indoor area with a piano(complete with guest entertainment) and a tented area, too. The charcuterie board was gorgeous and the yummy veggie wood-fired pizza’s were cooking in the outdoor oven. Most notable for me was the view of the snow-peaked mountains across the vineyard. Can’t get enough of that.
I spent roughly three hours capturing it all from some images of the recently married couple, to family photos, to the guests arriving and socializing, to the charcuterie board, pizza’s and desserts to the toasts and cake cutting.
Whitney and Spencer are easygoing and kind and their love was shining. It was fun to capture these images for them. Here are some of my favorites with a complete gallery in a few days. Thank you! Enjoy and congratulations!
