Ever been to one of those weddings where you walk out, so completely energized, exclaiming “that was the BEST wedding”? I’m certain most all who attended Amy and Tim’s June 1st wedding at their home and dog training facility in Dixon did. These two and their friends and family, really know how to throw a party!
I’ve photographed several variations of the Cutter family over the years so the whole event already started out near to my heart. With only 8-10 weeks from planning to event, Amy and Tim, with a lot of love and help from their friends and family, created an atmosphere that was just the perfect blend of heart, raw emotion, spontaneity, beauty, looseness, creativity, personality, and casualness and was attended by those closest to them including their dogs, chickens, goats, and dear family and friends.
Here are some of my favorite images from the day captured by both myself and my fabulous second shooter, Michelle Carter. We were honored to create along side some of the best in the industry including Beth Sogaard Catering, Alluring Events and Design, Claire’s Cupcakery, Sierra Rizing Bakery, Flowers on Main, Heidi and Corrine on hair and makeup, Dee Cutter and Stacy Michiko on the beautiful floral table arrangements, Aaron pumping the great tunes and the yurts, provided by New Willow Farm. Fun fact- Amy collected ALL of the vintage place settings for their guests. Wow!
That was the best wedding! Congrats to Amy and Tim and to the extended Peterson and Cutter families.
