I’ve known Patty, the Grandma of Ellie and Azriel for a couple of decades now, since I photographed her daughter, Natalie’s senior photos some 15-20 years ago. We also worked for 6 years together recently to Save the Canal- a historic waterway and pathway through the woods that was a community favorite. Onto the next generation… and Natalie’s kids, Patty’s grandkids- the perfect time of year for an Apple Hill photography session. It really is such an honor to live in a small town, have a small business and get to experience these new generations. Ellie was a burst of energy and I had fun finding what makes her tick while capturing her playful and spontaneous energy. Azriel (Ellie calls him “Bru Bru”) was solid, sweet and working to keep Grandma happy. I enjoyed his easygoing nature. Of course, I insisted that we get some photos with Grandma too. What a great gift Christmas idea!
