I have been photographing the Gray family since this shot above from Emigrant Trail pre-school(2005 ish?) and Catie still has alot to say! Watching these kids grow up and participate in school events alongside my own kids in our small community has been a rewarding experience. A few years back I photographed Jack’s sister, Grace and made an easy connection with their mom, Pam. Jack is the middle child at the Harrison household and I was honored to get Pam’s request earlier this year to schedule a senior session for him. Jack attends Union Mine and will graduate this May. Zoie. Vivacious, fun, spunky, (my neighbor) and such a beautiful young lady. Currently a high school senior at Union Mine in El Dorado, CA playing on the basketball team, working for the infamous and adored, John Sanders at the Old Town Grill in Placerville and looking forward to graduating this coming May. Somehow it doesn’t surprise me that when I posted a few of Jack’s senior photographs to Facebook, they were auto-tagged using Bob(Jack’s dad) in the face recognition. They do look quite a bit alike. I’ve known the McVey’s since we moved here about seventeen years ago. I’ve photographed their kids on and off since then. We are almost neighbors as we reside on the same side of Hwy 50.
