What fun it was connecting with the Roberts family again, this time for Liam’s senior photographs. Back in 2019 I photographed his sister, Phoebe. Liam was just as photogenic and charming. He brought with him a water polo ball and a carefree, super positive attitude. His smile and laugh float comfortably alongside his easy-going personality. It’s that time of the year again. Spring is here and with it brings the Class of 2022- this time, it’s Kayla who is excited about graduation. I love these BFF sessions. They are always super casual and the interactions between friends are fun to capture. Molly and Abigail have known each other forever. They are cousins and were raised together. Their moms are sisters and so are they, basically. Both are seniors this year at Ponderosa and will graduate with the Class of ’21. Both played on the volleyball team. This fall, Abby is heading off to Chatt State and Molly to boot camp, to join the Navy. You know they are going to miss each other. Y’all are beautiful. This was my third time photographing Brianna and thinking back, the first time, she was just a young girl of ten. Fast forward eight years and she still carries so much beauty, kindness and a gorgeous smile that lights up her face.

Photographing Phoebe- That cute red haircut, that beautiful smile peeking through the wildflowers- all in the loveliness of the late afternoon light….. Come May, Phoebe will be tossing that cap in the air at the Ponderosa High School graduation and become a part of the class of 2019. With a passion for zoology, she plans to stay local for a couple years at FLC and then transfer to another college. Such a very exciting time of life. Emma and Marcus, born on the same date, and graduating from Ponderosa High School on the same date too! Somehow it doesn’t surprise me that when I posted a few of Jack’s senior photographs to Facebook, they were auto-tagged using Bob(Jack’s dad) in the face recognition. They do look quite a bit alike. Actually, I see alot of Kim(Jack’s mom) in there too, in his eyes.
