She’s just as you’d imagine any toddler to be- curious, cute, adventurous and of course, sometimes demanding. Lola and Chris are expecting their first child at the beginning of April so last week was perfect timing to get in some photographs down at the lake. Lola wore a beautiful, flowing blue dress and was a trooper out in the snow. Chris stood close by putting a big blanket around her between shots. Chris’s stepfather Scott came along and helped including hoping one of my lights as needed. Next month, I’ll get to meet the little one when we get together for some newborn photos. Lots of love and congratulations to Adam and Ashley who welcomed their first child, Braxton Adam Wells early on April 30. I am so thrilled for them and for their new life adventure. After getting to capture Adam and Ashley, together at the lake, just shy of two weeks before Braxton’s delivery and also Ashley in a beautiful sunset maternity session,  I already know they are becoming amazing parents. Love you all! Can’t wait to meet him.

Gorgeous light! Gorgeous Danielle! What a wonderful way to celebrate the starting of another generation. Maternity sessions are often some of my favorite sessions for so many reasons. Danielle and William were expecting their first child when I took these photographs several weeks ago at Fausel Ranch, but I’ve been so busy lately that baby Aubree was already born and photographed before I got to get this session out to you all. Melissa and Eric are expecting little Joscilyn any day now. In fact, I just tried to call Melissa to see how she was doing and her mailbox was full… hmmm…..sounds suspicious- I can almost hear that first cry to the world! Thankfully the weather finally cleared up long enough for us to squeeze in a maternity shoot for them before she arrived.
