Alex and Matt married just over 7 years ago at Fausel Ranch in Placerville and I was there to capture their wedding day celebration. It was a memorable day for me as their wedding party was comprised of two other couples who I had also photographed weddings of recently. I met the Waller family through Pinetop Montessori in Pollock Pines. This is the second year I’ve photographed their family outside of Pinetop. Ahhh, what a wonderful family to photograph right here in my own back yard. The Lockwoods have emerged from a tough year where mom, Renee, was very sick for an extended period last year. Illness can take such a toll on relationships but I could tell that everyone was in a place of gratitude, celebrating Renee’s recovery and the gift of time together.
