I had the chance to meet up with Sandi and Terry Friday night at Larsens Park in Camino. Sandi was Jaz’s second grade teacher. Jaz loved her- and so did we. We gave this session to her as an end of the year thank you gift. The light was beautiful, and so were these two! Thank you Sandi for making Jaz’s year in second grade such a fantastic one!

My extended family has a beautiful farm up on the Umpqua River in Oregon. We don’t get up there as much as we’d like mostly due to the amount of travel time it takes to get there and back. I wish it was about 4 hours away instead of 8-10 hours- we’d go up all the time! Negar tells me that this is my eighth time photographing their family(in some variation). I can do nothing but believe her. I have to admit that I lose count after awhile. Janine used to teach yoga at the same place I taught a dance aerobics class. Just saying that brings me way back. We all had little kids/infants that we brought to class and had babysitting available for all the moms who wanted to work out while both trying to shed a few pounds and carve out a little personal time. It was a fine time- lots of camaraderie – with new moms sharing the trials and tribulations of parenting, while more experienced moms shared their own experiences.
