  • I have been so lucky to have had amazing assistants over the years.  Anna, my assistant of two years is beginning a new adventure in South Carolina,  and I am excited to begin my own, new adventure with three wonderful ladies to help me out.  Let me introduce Rita, Amy and Jerri!    I am so excited to have Rita as my new office manager. If you know Rita, you love Rita and know just how kind and helpful (and smart) she is! I’m really looking forward to working with her! Name? Rita Sign? Cancer Dream car?  A Lexus RX…

  • When a Fausel relative gets married it’s a big deal and this time it Mark and Sharlot’s turn. This was day two of my Fasuel Ranch Extravaganza with Deanna of Fausel Ranch, Dottie of Camino Flower Shop, and John of Old Town Grill. Chad Stalzer Productions joined us as well for the day – gotta love having a fun team to work with. The ranch couldn’t have been any more beautiful and neither could the bride! The night started with wine tasting in the barn where the couple could greet their guests prior to their ceremony- what a special touch! The…

  • Thank you to Michelle McDaid for capturing these images of Anna and I photographing the rings at a recent wedding- setting up these shots was only one of Anna’s specialties.    ____________________________________________________________________________ wing·man/ˈwiNGˌmən/ Noun: a pilot who supports another in a potentially dangerous flying environment. Wingman was originally a term referring to the plane flying beside and slightly behind the lead plane in an aircraft formation. The wingman’s role is to add an element of mutual support to aerial combat. The presence of a wingman makes the flight both offensively and defensively more capable by increasing firepower and situational awareness,…

  • What can I say about Matt and Alex’s wedding? This was day one of my ‘Fausel Ranch Extravaganza’ with Deanna of Fausel Ranch, Dottie of Camino Flower Shop, John of Old Town Grill, and I all working two weddings back to back. I’ve known both Matt and Alex for a few years now, and their wedding seemed like a giant reunion of past couples and families all there to celebrate the two of them. I had three past couples in attendance that day – John & Elisha, Matt & Gretchen, and Aaron & Ashley, along with many of the guests…

  • When it’s right it’s right. Instantly we were all having a blast enjoying the great outdoors of Lake Tahoe. Kim and Sean are vibrant, warm and athletic and I was so excited for their paddle board session. Our plan was to use Donner Lake “proper” but the wind was howling that day which sent us to a small inlet behind Donner Lake. I’m looking forward to their August Truckee wedding! Special thanks Amanda Bremmer for all of your help with this one! Enjoy your SLIDESHOW

  • As many of you know, each year I fly back to Virgina to photograph the graduation events of my alma mater. This year I got an extra treat, and was able to go back twice. Once for the graduation and then again just two weeks later to photograph Hunter and Schay’s wedding held right there on campus. Having gone to school there myself and returning each year for the past 28 years and photographing Schay in 2006 for her graduation, it truly was special to be able to capture Hunter and Schay in the backdrop of a campus I know…

  • Love is in the air as it always seems to be at Fausel Ranch! This time I was photographing Mark and Sharlot for their engagement photos. These two are so comfortable with each other and comfortable with the ranch, as they should be. Mark just happens to be Deanna Fausel’s brother. Which was perfect! He was creatively moving around props helping me make the perfect settings for their engagement shoot. But with Sharlot’s beauty (inside and out) who would care what the background was. The two of them together are captivating and I enjoyed every minute of photographing you both.…

  • It was so wonderful to get out one late afternoon with the Mulholland family and capture some new memories in the daisy field at the end of the lake. I admit that it was pretty hard to take a bad photograph of those four “pretties”. I’m honored to be able to do this for you all and admire your family strength. Peace Mulholland family! Your complete gallery will be up in a few days!
