  • I love engagement sessions and am happy to be moving back into the season for them. As a photographer- not only do I get to know the couple I will work with better as we earn a trust between each other- but it is also “no pressure shooting”…it’s a creative flow that you trust and follow without any wedding day pressure or schedules. • You have to be careful when you live in Pollock Pines, and spring hits and you still leave the house wearing fleece and long sleeves. Don’t go down the hill dressed like that- you will burn up. Even in Camino at the Apple Mountain Golf Course it was very warm when I met Hayden for his senior shoot. We decided to trek down to Folsom, and shoot along the river for the evening. We spent most of the time just following the light, and the kids didn’t seem to mind being allowed to climb all over the rocks. We got some beautiful shots of the kids, and of the family. We decided to do a second mini session up at Boeger with Jessica in…

  • Sara’s father Charlie Ferris is currently my youngest daughter Ember’s kindergarten teacher, was my oldest daughter Jaz’s kindergarten teacher two years ago and was also my assistant Cassie’s older brother’s kindergarten teacher.. 22 years ago! I adore Charlie & now I also adore his fantastic daughter Sara and her new husband Sean. I had asked Sean to describe Sara in one adjective and he quickly responded “Wonderful.” I then asked him for a second adjective & he replied “Compassionate, wise, understanding, beautiful..” – Anyone can tell that Sara and Sean are crazy about each other. They are alot of fun…
