Apple Hill Family sessions

I love a family that rallies and the Seelos family was no exception. As it is with most family sessions around the holidays, there isn’t much option for rescheduling around the weather with so many schedules and traveling distances involved. Becky knew she wanted to capture these moments in time and she rallied her crew together on her father’s property. I met up with Rebecca, James and seven-year-old, Briar this fall at my favorite Apple Hill fall-color spot. Oh those brilliant colors did not disappoint! I look forward to them every year. We played around in the leaves, and collected firewood:) I ran around with Briar and captured him in all his explorations of new ground! His parents are both outdoor, nature enthusiasts, personally and professionally and it is clear they have instilled that curiosity in Briar. I first met the Bryant family when they moved to town earlier this year from Carmichael. Jaxon ruled the roost as most curious toddlers do- often preferring searching for rocks and other miscellaneous items as compared to those pesky photos! But alas- enter some “to die for” sunset light on the lake and trees, and some mom and dad playtime and we were able to capture some gorgeous photos of the whole family too! Ahhhhh. Wow, look at that sunset…look at the sunlight through the trees…moonlight on still water…sunlight on a spider web…the sparkle in your eyes. Caitlyn, Elijah and Benito added on a session to their one-year baby plan- and I am so glad that they did. Literally, for one hour, it did not rain in Apple Hill and that was the hour we were there.
