When I first arrived at the Forest House Lodge for Sumer and Jason’s wedding, I almost instantly fell in love. Everywhere I turned there were these amazing spots that a photographer would dream to work in. And the groom, as a photographer himself, I’m sure picked the Forest House Lodge for this among many reasons for their big day. The Forest House helps to create an atmosphere of a destination wedding by only booking their venue for a minimum of 28 hours. Every that was there, was there for this wedding and every staff member was there to make sure all of your needs were catered to. A great and creative place to work!
We started the day off with the girls in the bridal suite. Everyone seemed to be relaxing before all of the days events got started, and I loved how the kids were buzzing in and out as they entertained themselves in the massive basement game-room. When it came time for Sumer to put on her dress, I swear I could have had her stay where she was all day with the light that was coming through the window behind her.
The ceremony took place a mile down the road at the reception site, and they had the most amazing view of the valley behind them. Sumer and Jason made sure that their guests had a good time that night, with the food, the photobooth and the games downstairs I’m sure the celebration went on all night long. Congratulations Sumer and Jason!
