Tis’ the season when I spend a lot of time in Apple Hill photographing local families and also those who make Apple Hill their weekend destination. The fall colors were particularly gorgeous this year accented by the smokeless blue sky. It’s been years for those of us in the foothills since we had a fall with clean and smokeless air.
I’m always happy to get out with the Skalos family after doing a year of photo sessions when Shannon was pregnant with their youngest, Ava- through her first birthday. I love getting to know the kids and having them get to know me better each year. It’s fun to capture their playfulness- all of them, including Shannon, Dan and Claire (Claire-bear).
