I always enjoy this time of year and the many high school seniors I get to photograph. Additionally, getting to explore a new location is always great fun, and this one with its abundance of life, in both organic produce and oh, all those gorgeous flowers- what a treat. I love giving my customers lots of variety in images. Teresa, Sarah’s mom set this one up at 24 Carrot Farm where she helps out. Head out there for some fresh, berries, produce and flowers. So good!
Sarah is naturally beautiful and I enjoyed working with her. She’s also a photographer and brought along her camera for a few photographs as well as a 1971 Green Ford truck! LOVE IT!
Next year after graduation, Sarah plans to attend Community College while having the world revealed to her in her travels. (I knew I connected with her:). Her favorite ways to spend her free time are raising goats, photography, cooking, working out, traveling and snowboarding, and skiing.
Because I love music and actually used to be a live and studio recording engineer, I like to know what people are listening to these days, I ask Seniors who their favorites are….Sarah likes Odesza, Avicii, Lost Frequencies and db Sounds. I’ll have to do some searching on Spotify to check them out. (thanks). Her advice to incoming high schoolers is to “prioritize your mental health and listen to your gut- if something seems too stressful or just doesn’t feel right, find another way that works better for you. This will make your high school journey so much more enjoyable”. She has the wisdom of a person 20 years her senior. In ten years she sees herself living the life she set out to create where she can travel alot, can afford the things she wants and doing what she wants whenever she wants because no one can stop her. I don’t think that anyone will….I love that determination! Go get ’em, Sarah. I look forward to hearing about all of your next adventures. Thanks for playing with me out in that flower garden.
