A ballerina in the woods = magical. There is just no way to not say “ahhh” when you look at these images of beautiful Rebecca, during our session to celebrate her upcoming graduation next year.
Just a couple of short years ago I was photographing her brother, John, as he prepared to join the Marines. Becky is considering the US Coast Guard Academy as well as Geneva college in PA, Montana State, and Tulane. Her plan is to study chemical engineering and pre-med.
High school has been busy for Becky, where she has competed in track-and-field (her specialties being long jump and triple jump), a role in her school’s production of CATS, tap dancing, and ballet dancing, including performing in the Sacramento Ballet’s production of the Nutcracker. (Phew! I’m tired just writing about it.) She also went to the US Coast Guard Academy’s AIM program (Academy Introduction Mission) this past summer, where she tells me she loved driving across the country with her brother who is now in the Coast Guard.
With such a varied portfolio of interests and achievements, I’m certain Becky will win herself a spot in any of her chosen colleges with ease. I loved photographing her beautiful, sweet smile and look forward to hearing where her college adventures take her in 2014.
