I knew from the moment I met Randi and Austin, that they were going to be a fun couple to photograph because, well, they were referred to me by my friend Melinda (who is a pretty fun person herself!). Their engagement session confirmed that, AND their wedding was every bit as fun as I expected it to be- lots of love surrounding them by family and friends always makes for a warm, good time.
Austin is a firefighter, so they chose The Firehouse in Old Sacramento to host their wedding. This was my first time shooting their and I loved it! There were so many details that set the scene that day, from the first look in the fully blooming, downtown Rose Garden, to entering the reception to the ring of a siren, and even cutting the cake with an engraved ax. Randi and Austin, thank you so much for letting me drag you around through Old Sacramento, and trusting me enough to not get you run over by a car while standing in the middle of the street by the Tower Bridge! Congratulations you two and thanks for a fun day!
