• I’ve known Tiffany and Keith since 2009. I’ve been there from their wedding to the birth of their son, Finn. I can’t believe Finn is now 6 months old, and boy is he handsome! We met at their house in Sacramento to capture their every day life with their new addition. From the swing in the front yard to the pool in the back, Finn was a happy camper. And you can tell he gets his love for the water from his momma- I think he could have stayed in that pool all night long. Of course no photography shoot…

  • I’ve known the McVey Family pretty much since I moved to Pollock Pines in 2000. I remember Sue being over at my house with her kids who were maybe 4 and 6 at the time and me being amazed that children could actually play together, clean up after themselves and take instructions. Of course, I had a 2? year old at the time and it seemed like it might take forever to get there. It didn’t. I have photographed their family a few times over the years but with Keagan heading off to high school, I think Sue was feeling…

  • Newborn sessions are so wonderful. It’s just a big love fest and Ellie couldn’t be any sweeter. Nicole and Keith commented about how sometimes they just tune in and watch her adoringly- they call it “LTV” and I documented some of that love and wonderment below. My daughter Ember, who loves babies joined me on this one and even took some photographs with my iphone. Her “reward” was getting to hold Ellie at the end of the session. Congratulations and welcome Eleanor- can’t wait to see you in a few months…

  • It’s hard to imagine being anywhere else that first weekend in June. This year marked my 28th Chatham Hall graduation: actually 29, if you include my own graduation back in 1984. I truly enjoy heading across country year after year and documenting this beautiful event in the rolling green hills of Chatham, Virginia. Over the years I have also been allowed the honor of photographing many of the faculty and staff as they have been celebrated for their contributions to this school. This year I photographed Dr. Black, my English teacher from junior year, for his retirement and 30 years…

  • I was so excited to hear that Brett and Erin were getting married, and honored that they chose me to be their photographer. I shot her sister Courtney’s  wedding last year, and was thrilled to get to work with their family again. This is just one of those families you never forget…in a good and warm way; kind, generous, joyful AND FUN. Many thanks to my past wedding clients, Jenn and Jeff, guests at both weddings, for their referral and for just knowing how we’d hit it off! We started out the day in Folsom where Erin and Brett got…

  • From the babysitter of my young girls to a graduating El Dorado high school senior…Samantha is moving on to the next step in her life. She will be attending our local community college, staying close to her two sisters and Mom and Dad. Just days before graduation with the fear of rain on her big day, her smile still shone amongst the spring flowers. She’s so beautiful!  Congratulations Samantha and best wishes to you in the new adventures that await you. I wish you all the success, love and happiness that this world has to offer and that you are…

  • Nello Winery recently became a Wedgewood Wedding Location. I became the preferred wedding photographer for Wedgewood Weddings at the Sequoia Mansion in Placerville a few months ago,  and am now proud to be their choice for events at Nello Winery as well, along with many other fantastic local vendors. Check it out! It’s going to be an amazing, affordable wedding location, right here in town.

  • Ember and I had the honor of attending Linda and Todd’s open house last weekend to welcome baby Aria. I had the pleasure of photographing the two of them for their adoption portfolio, and I’m looking forward to getting to photograph more of Miss Aria and the three of them as a family over the coming years! Congratulations Todd and Linda! She’s an absolute doll!

  • Karen and Erin met while working in Northern California as Archeologists and the rest is history.  The two are looking forward to their August wedding at the High Sierra Iris and Wedding Gardens in Camino. Since the iris won’t be in bloom in August we felt it only fitting to capture the two of them with the iris in Coloma as they are blooming now.  I can’t wait until your big day in August.  Until then enjoy your pictures. • River, rocks and the Death Gap. Ok, Ryan didn’t make us jump the gap (thankfully) but we sure had fun in the outdoors down by the American River at Alder Creek Tract. Ryan is a senior at a local charter school in Camino and is about to graduate. Next fall he will start at Lake Tahoe Community College where he will be closer to one of his great loves… the snow! Ryan competed for the Sierra-at-Tahoe team. He yearns for adventure and I know one day we will see him on the cover of an extreme sports magazine. I’m so…

  • I’ve been running into Matt alot on the “wedding circuit”.  First at Matt and Gretchen’s Fausel Ranch Wedding and then at Elisha and John’s Fausel Ranch Wedding. In fact, at Elisha and John’s wedding, he met Alex, who was a bridesmaid for Elisha. I remember taking a photograph of her looking at Elisha’s dress…. I know it is hard to keep up with but at the end of June I will get to photograph their wedding at Fausel Ranch(one of my favorite spots) while 2 of my past brides(Gretchen and Elisha- who will also both be very pregnant) stand by…
