When you are seven years old and slip into the lake upon arrival for photographs gently soaking your blue jeans, what do you do? Briana and Danny came ready to party! Andrea and Paul have been married for 22 years and in that time they have opened their hearts and their home to grow their family in many ways including through the foster program. I met Andrea and Paul through my amazing neighbor Leslie who also opens her heart in so many ways to help the community. Alex and Matt married just over 7 years ago at Fausel Ranch in Placerville and I was there to capture their wedding day celebration. Elise’s world came caving in this past January when in a few short weeks she lost both her healthy father to a unimaginable heart attack and her home and belongings to a fire. I don’t think anyone can fathom this loss. Elise and my daughter have known each other since grade school and often played soccer together on the same team. High on hill, overlooking the rolling fog almost covering the Golden Gate Bridge, Sahoko and Josh exchanged their vows at Blake Garden where Sahoko is doing an artist residency exploring dyes and paints from organic materials. On July 27, Eric and Jody celebrated their marriage at Strawberry Lodge in Kyburz.(read the history of the Lodge here).
