High on a hill, with rows of vines shimmering in diffused light and gently sloping southeast, Elena and Josh exchanged vows at the home of Elena’s parents, Tim and Karen Jolly, owners of a beautiful vineyard and farm, WindRush. On one of the first hot days of summer, somewhere off of Highway 49 in El Dorado, Zoë and Zach finally got to live out their plan for a laidback, garden-bohemian wedding celebration, sprinkled with superheroes, bachata Latin dance, Lord of the Rings and of course dear family and friends. Allison writes, sings, plays guitar, and has been playing upright with the Folsom Lake Symphony for two years which is quite an accomplishment for anyone, but also someone her age. Collin graduates from Vista del Lago in Folsom this May and then he is headed to Grand Canyon University in Arizona to study Physical Therapy this fall. I photographed his brother Ethan a couple years back who is also at Grand Canyon U. Collin played soccer for Vista del Lago for all four of his high school years, and quite successfully I might add. Scott and Christina married at Serrano Country Club on April 9, 2022- and the next morning I left for Scotland- which is why I’m getting these up a little later than usual. What fun it was connecting with the Roberts family again, this time for Liam’s senior photographs. Back in 2019 I photographed his sister, Phoebe. Liam was just as photogenic and charming. He brought with him a water polo ball and a carefree, super positive attitude. His smile and laugh float comfortably alongside his easy-going personality.
