I love when it is time to photograph the Owen’s family. South Lake Tahoe was this year’s destination and I met up with them right before I took off for a vacation. Their family has a home in Tahoe Keys and they love the area. Who doesn’t? Cooler temps, mountains, meadows, beaches, and sunsets. Gia’s parents, Linda and Toney were in town and joined in on some photos.
Texas and Garner have grown up so much since I last saw them. They have a great relationship and enjoy playing together. New, bubbly, poodley doggie family member, Dusty joined in too.
True or False- I first met Gia and Jeff in person in a birthing room in Roseville where both Gia and Jeff work as nurses and Gia was in labor? TRUE! Of course, I have to give credit to our mutual friend, Tom, also a nurse, for referring them to me years ago. He knew we’d hit it off!
It’s fun to photograph families year after year and have that easy connection. Beautiful, vivacious children, and a family of great smiles always leave me eagerly waiting for the next session.
