After about two weeks of gorgeous spring weather here in the mountains we awoke to Nyron’s first birthday session and rain in the forecast just like Kailey’s maternity session. Since it was his actual birthday, we decided to not let a little rain get in our way(just like when he was in Mom’s tummy) and all met to capture the smiles of this growing baby resembling more today, “a little boy”. It does go by so fast.
A bright red wagon, a colorful bunch of balloons gathered by Dad earlier that morning as he was getting off work from his EMT shift, cute celebratory bunting made with love by Mom and the bright green backdrop of Larsen’s Apple Barn park (thank you Lynn), the stage was set for our own celebration …and an hour or so of chasing a busy, little-one around.
Nyron cried, smiled, and laughed as he explored the muddy park on his hands and knees.
The session ended with a traditional cake smash and a lemon cake made by Mom to die for! Thank you Kailey and Matt for it ALL…starting with your engagement session at Towne Center to your wedding in Bodega Bay, to your maternity session atop of that rainy hill in Placerville to his birth at Marshall and the sessions all year long…it has been an adventure and honor for me. Your love for each other always shines through. You know I love you all! Congratulations!
