Molly & Andrew Wedding ~ July 17, 2009

Molly and Andrew were guests at Jorden and Becky’s wedding that I shot back in October ’07. When Molly contacted me about her wedding, I knew it was going to be a fun one. Not only did she love photography and knew it was important to her and Andrew on their wedding day, her groom, Andrew spent many years growing up just down the road from my home- Andrew’s parents are my neighbors! Our day started off up the street (gotta love that commute) and their wedding location was at Molly’s fathers home in Placerville; a beautiful home, with stunning craftsman details all throughout, and property which were fun to use as a backdrop for their wedding photography. The reception was a great time, with super easy going family and friends. The day went by with out a hitch.. until I got attacked by a cactus right before the cake cutting! – I highly discourage everyone from ever running into a cactus by accident and using your hand(duh!) to brush off the spines… Live and learn- AND I USED to love the southwest! Cassie(my assistant) and Molly’s step mom were awesome and helped me pull out most of those little prickers just in time to photograph the cake cutting!
