When I arrived at Fausel Ranch the morning of Michelle and Tim’s wedding, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Normally with June weddings I anticipate sweltering heat, but with winter sticking around the way it did this year it made for a perfect 80-something degree day. What was even cooler was that with all the recent rain, one of the back fields that would normally have been dried up by now was covered in small yellow flowers, and made for some beautiful bridal portraits.
I loved all of the little details that they put into their day from the burlap accents, to the cowboy boots that the bride and her attendants wore, and even the bags of banana pancake mix that they gave as favors. Being lovers of adventure, each table was assigned a month to come up with an adventure Michelle and Tim should take next year.
Michelle and Tim decided to wait and have the ceremony be the first time they saw each other that day. So we took advantage of one of the newly renovated barns on the property for a few of Tim’s photographs, and I loved that Michelle seemed up for anything….including hopping on a motorcycle in her dress. Deanna, the owner of Fausel Ranch, was kind enough to drive us on the back of her quad so that I could take a few photographs of Michelle and Tim as they left the ceremony on their motorcycle, it made for some awesome images, and what I would give for a few photos of Me, Anna, Deanna, and all our gear bouncing on the back of that quad! Congratulations Tim and Michelle!

I look at this post all the time when I need a break from whatever I am doing and continue to find something new. Thank you, Lisa, for capturing all of the moments from that special day. The seconds come alive in each frame and I will forever be greatful to have worked with you.

Thanks for checking them out Michelle- A field of flowers and a bride IS magical, for me:)
That one of her skirt blowing in the breeze in the field of flowers is just MAGICAL. Love them, Lisa!
