Mandi & John love coming up to the mountains to ski & snowboard – so they had their wedding at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe! I enjoy getting the opportunity to photograph in new locations and especially at the top of a mountain overlooking Lake Tahoe- I’ve got a great job! Mandi and John are easy going and clearly have surrounded themselves with folks who love and care about them. Mandi’s sister Jenny personalized and performed the ceremony while matron of honor, Brittany heroically caught flower arrangements being taken down by the high country wind. All of their friends made the dance floor a very fun place to be!
Many thanks to Jaime of Rose Street Studio for assisting and second shooting with me. The staff at Heavenly were great- many thanks to Libby, the Heavenly wedding coordinator for the band aid(gotta watch out for high country climbing), Derek Tarpey of Lake DJ for the great tunes all night and the beautiful flowers from Rose Petal Florist. Hi Mandi- So glad you love them and I know what you mean about getting glimpses of parts of the day that you either didn’t see or
did not remember that you saw- wedding days can be a bit of a blur:) It was like that for me..it all happens so fast!
Lisa and Jamie – thank you both for doing such a great job of capturing our special day. The pictures are fabulous and I love how you didn’t just capture great shots John and me, but everyone who attended. I like looking through and getting glimpses of parts of the day that I didn’t see.
