How time flies! I can’t believe Kiki is already a graduating SENIOR, and that I have known her since she was nine years old…
I first met Kiki’s parents when they hired me to photograph their wedding in 2009. Now here we are, almost halfway through 2017, and Kiki is preparing to embark on the major adventure of college. Through the years I have watched her grow and blossom into the smart, kind, athletic and beautiful woman that she is today (and often through her Dad’s beautiful photography)- and I couldn’t be prouder to help her celebrate this next stage in her life!
Kiki is headed to UC San Diego this fall to study applied mathematics and computer science (with a minor in ocean fun and beach relaxation, no doubt!). While she is proudest of having been accepted into Santa Clara, it was the charismatic depiction of applied mathematics given by UCSD’s math department head that truly sealed her decision to accept San Diego’s invitation. However, once she saw the campus and got a peek at the ocean view dorm room, her resolve was iron clad: San Diego was the school for her. GOOOOOOO Tritons!!
I wish Kiki all the best (and all the Lay’s potato chips she can find) as she navigates this exciting new chapter in her life. Whether playing intramural sports or pondering how to prove a quadratic equation, I am sure she will excel as she always has. Congratulations Kiki and may your future be as bright as your beautiful smile!
In Celebration,
Lisa
