Let’s be honest, most guys have no idea what to expect when their parent signs them up for a senior photography session. Most of the time I just confide with them that we are doing this for their parents– and it seems to take the pressure off. Now we are on the same team working to get some shots that mom will love and hopefully we did!
We worked the area around Henningsen park and the beach/river area while warming up to each other and the process. Kian is super sweet and a little shy and like most male seniors, doesn’t spend a lot of time in front of the camera- or any. After a while, I felt like I saw his natural smile peek through so now I knew what I was looking for. I mean those blue eyes popping against that red hair- so much fun. I tell you though, the light that I saw in him as soon as he picked up his volleyball. That was pure joy! He’s been playing on the team for four years. As the sun tucked away in the river valley, we hit up the bridge to get a few images of him with his car.
Next fall Kian is looking to go to school perhaps out of state and study engineering. Congrats Kian and thank you!
