Earlier this year I went to San Fransisco to shoot Karl & Lauren’s engagement session and it was typical SF weather- foggy, raining, and misty but I was pleased that the weather didn’t keep them from the shoot and they were probably equally pleased that I didn’t mind getting my gear wet for their shoot! We all enjoyed ourselves running around like Golden Retrievers on the beach! Karl & Lauren held their wedding in the Redwood Grove on the UC Berkeley campus and had their reception right across the street at the Botanical Garden; both places were amazing and beautiful! Karl and Lauren are both vegan so all the food being served at their reception was vegan and it was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had – Thanks to Trumpet Vine Catering! Congratulations Lauren and Karl- I hope you are having a great time in the Kauai sunshine! The Kalalau trail is one of my favorite places to be! Any hikes yet to Hanakapiai Falls? Or, even better, do you have any other food photos: maybe we could put together a small book for me to show clients your work with a few pictures of the Redwood grove, the food, and Lauren and Karl cutting the cake?…Such a sweet couple, and you captured them so well!
