Look at this little whipper snapper- and at just three weeks Jack is already stretching his legs and ready to take on the world!
Jack Banks Heacock is the precious first child of Rebekah and Nathan. He is also the grandson of a dear old friend of mine, Miss Ruthie of Emigrant Trail Pre School fame where my oldest daughter attended (who now, btw is applying to colleges :0). Jack is also the grandson of Miss Rhodes (Nathan’s mom), who taught my kids to play the piano. Crazy.
And so the story goes…and it’s a great one. Miss Ruthie’s daughter Rebekah lived across the street from Miss Rhodes son, Nathan, just down the road from us. They basically grew up together. Then, they started dating in 2011 during Rebekah’s senior year in HS, and Nathan’s sophomore year in college. Shortly thereafter they moved to Tennessee and married in 2013.
I’ve known these two and their families for a couple decades now and have captured them through out the years whether it be family photos, senior photos, sibling weddings…. Crazy!
Now, they’re parents and back in California. Full circle! I loved getting to spend the afternoon with them in their home and was honored that they asked me to capture this amazing time in their lives while they loved (fed, changed, cuddled) on this little guy that they created.
I keep wondering how everyone else around me is getting older, yet I seem to stay the same age? Well, except for my back.
Welcome Jack and thank you again Nathan and Rebekah! Jack is a lucky little guy!
