Meet Gavin and Fayth ~ Senior Sessions for Friends

Gavin and Fayth. They’ve been friends for 11 years and are both graduating from El Dorado High this coming May.

Their senior “split” session for friends? So fun; ranging from moments of introspection to pure silliness. Our session? A warm, fall, Californian late afternoon at Boeger Vineyards. Perfect. Not sure it gets any better than this…

Meet Gavin: Loves theater more than anything- in fact, check him out as the lead in The Terrible Tragedy of Peter Pan this November. His favorite thing to do is “to listen to music in my car while going too fast.” In his spare time he enjoys laughing with friends, or finding something creative to do. The most important thing to Gavin is love (and I love that). He believes that the world is a better place when everybody loves one another. He admits that he “sounds like a big hippie, but it’s the truth”. For me- I love to hear comments like this from the next generation! Gavin is real and I think that he is conscientious, cool and very talented!

Meet Fayth: A gorgeous young woman whose smile and easy going personality puts one at ease immediately. In her free time, she enjoys a nice cup of tea and a good book. She hopes to pursue art throughout her life in whatever way that she’s capable, and exclaims that she “wants to listen to good music for the rest of my life !” She is applying to Southern Oregon University, Willamette, and SF State and intends to study english and writing… and is excited about going to college! Go get ’em Fayth!

They decided that they would have fun doing their senior session together. Fun? Oh yeah! What a great time we all had. So much that I thought I would offer for this type of session to any friends, seniors, young and old alike. Friends are the spice of life- why not share some time with your best friend at your session?

Available this fall through next spring, Senior “split” friend sessions cost $199/pp and include two full hours of shooting at whatever location you would like AND an $80 print credit to split. A photography session with your friend, means you are relaxed, and having fun while your buddy is there to make you laugh. Plus, we will also photograph some fun and playful shots of the two of you. We make the most of the time because while one is changing shirts, outfits etc., the other is in front of the camera ensuring that you have plenty of unique and varied images to choose from.

Given that both Gavin and Fayth are music lovers, I let them chose the music for their show. Funny thing, the first song was recorded in 1971, years (I guess decades) before either of them were born and I love that about them too. “California” by Joni Mitchell is an all time favorite of mine!
