Congratulations to Dan and Leslie who recently exchanged their vows at the beautiful Flower Farm on a very hot day for the Sacramento area. They were joined by their doggie, and a big group of family and friends. When we arrived, Dan and his groomsmen “were making sure” the outdoor games were all set up and functioning properly before heading over to the Farmhouse to get ready. When I arrived at Hibiscus cottage, the bridesmaids were receiving their bouquets from Leslie. We chatted about her plan for a fake first look for Dan with their friend Trevor who was all dolled up as a bride. Let’s just say, Dan was very surprised as he shined that big smile, knowing that Leslie had got him good! Then, when Leslie finally arrived behind Dan for their first look, with that beautiful veil trailing behind her, these two were ready to get married.
Their lovely ceremony, under the big oak tree and led by a friend, Devin concluded with a group photo before everyone moved on to the reception. Cocktail hour was met with a delicious charcuterie board followed by wood-fired pizza’s and salad for dinner. The toasts kept everyone laughing including Dan and Leslie who had finally settled into the first day of their marriage.
Once the heat of the day went down with the sun, the guests hit up all of those games on the lawn. Congratulations to you both and thank you for having us!
Many thanks to Marcus for second shooting with me, and all the way from Washington!
