I’ve truly enjoyed Courtney and Josh from the first day I met them (big thanks to Jenn and Jeff for introducing us). They are young, fun and ready to take life by the horns (and can tear up a dance floor too…just sayin’). They first met at church camp over 10 years ago, and apparently Courtney had her sights set on Josh from the first time she saw him. And here they are, many years later, as husband and wife. Their January wedding was a great way to start off the year. They chose to do a “First Look” which allowed them some private time together before their ceremony as well as the opportunity to get much of their family and wedding party photography wrapped up before the ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Cypress Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento in the candle-lit sanctuary, complete with a “historic” slide show and a sand ceremony. Following was a beautiful reception at the Vizcaya Mansion. We were lucky enough to get to ride in the party bus with the Bride and Groom and the entire bridal party both to and from the church, which made for some fun(and bumpy) photographs. It’s always a good sign when at the end of the day you just have a good feeling about the couple. Courtney and Josh, I’m so happy for the two of you! Congratulations! AND, you are right Courtney, “your wedding was da bomb”. Here is your slideshow link. Enjoy! (and welcome home too). All of your proofs will be up in a few more weeks.
I also wanted to give a big shout out to all of the vendors! It was an amazing evening made that way by many hands.
