As this year is about to close, here is my last wedding of 2023 – Juliana and Evan. Gorgeous day, gorgeous location, gorgeous couple- and while I admit bias, they’re one of the sweetest couples I’ve had this year. Jessica and Cory exchanged their vows under the shade of a big oak tree at Black Oak Mountain Vineyards in Cool, CA. Unlike the name of the location, their day was sunny and hot but the skies were a gorgeous blue, scattered with puffy clouds. They shared a quick first look under the big blue sky but quickly moved inside due to the heat. Backyard weddings can be a lot of work but they also can be that perfectly small, intimate vibe that you are looking for. I loved getting to be back at the beautiful Flower Farm for Stephanie and Carson’s wedding. Engagement sessions are so great because you come away knowing alot about a couple and how they are with each other, outside of their wedding day, and before their wedding day. Additionally, they get to know and feel more comfortable with me. It’s always a win.

I love these two! And, as it often goes, I met Soudi and Mike at a wedding this summer where they were part of the wedding party of another wedding I was photographing. Referrals are the best and usually yield super kind and cool folks.
