John & Elisha are getting married on July 10, 2010 at the beautiful Fausel Ranch in Placerville, CA. Kim, Vern & their kids all showed up to The Sequoia in a big party bus and basically already had their party started! They were relaxed and easy going. I photographed Ty and Tina’s wedding back in 2007 – and now look at them! A beautiful, happy, healthy, growing family. I absolutely adore Ty and Tina and their boys couldn’t be any cuter. Outdoor spring weddings are tough to plan and to nail weather-wise around here. It is a bit of a crap shoot. I know this of course because I got married in the pouring rain (May 6, 2000) in Amador county not to mention my experiences with spring weddings in this area. My good friend Julie referred the Ito family to me and I can’t thank her enough. As it turns out, Sara’s son Logan and my daughter Jaz are in the same 2nd grade class. Kalene is Graduating! Kalene was so excited for her senior shoot and so were Cassie and I… because Kalene is my other assistant when Cassie is unavailable ! It was really fun & easy to work with someone who not only is so beautiful but that also knew the flow of a shoot and knew us well too. Courtney and Josh are total opposites they say – and it seemed to be a bit true. The upcoming weather forecast for the date of my shoot with Brielle and Trevor started to look bleak – it said rainy & overcast.
