Well, I got to meet cute lil’ Texas for the first time as he entered this world. Seriously.
Well, it used to be that my most favorite part of photographing newborn sessions was getting a little newborn snuggle-time while also giving a tired mom and dad a little break here and there. In these times of covid, this is unfortunately not possible. I choose not to have any physical contact with these little babies. I can’t wait till this is not the case.
Look how much these two kids have grown, HA -and their adult parents too….though I must admit, they look the same as when I captured them on their wedding day at Fausel Ranch back in 2011.
Henningsen Lotus Park is a favorite location to photograph at and especially in the fall. When Laura contacted me to capture some images of her family, earlier this fall, in their family home before they moved- we had to reschedule at least 4 times or more due to all the smoke in the air. Their home had a beautiful sunset view that was completely covered in all the September/October California smoke from all the fires. Well, while staying local, they did move to a new home so we came up with a plan B. Not bad. I’m going to give…
Maureen and Curt got married at a barn burner surrounded by the love of family and friends and the most delicious food(yay! paella) AND at one of my favorite venues, Fausel Ranch. A pretty stellar evening. This was in June of 2018. After buying a new home in Alameda and a honeymoon in New Zealand, they got to work on a few projects including some home renovations and baby construction. Little Odin arrived in September and I met up with their new expanded family at Fausel to capture them all, including Lucy, their rescue dog who enjoyed the wide open…
I’ve literally been photographing Graydon since he was born. This year’s session was mostly about play and action as that is what this eight year old, ALL BOY is about. But don’t let my ALL BOY declaration fool you because the relationship he has with his dad, Tom is super loving and super sweet- there is so much present love between them. I enjoy getting to spend time with these two each year. For the future, Graydon looks forward to everyone getting to the other side of COVID 19 so that he can be playing soccer again on a team…
Can you imagine? The Neto family has been on a wild ride, which Marika called “an adventure, for sure”. I am sure these years have been riddled with countless bouts of stress and anxiety. Marika and Virgilio lost their home in 2017 to the Tubbs fire, and lived in their garage. Their family of three bought an RV and lived in it until they could move back onto the property after it was cleared. Then, two years later in 2019 they ran from their home, leaving their RV on the property as they were evacuated from the Kincade fire. This…
On the evening before the official adoption of Callie and Gabriel into the loving home of the Coggiola family, the family met at the Main Street Courthouse for a few photographs to memorialize this moment in time.
Mary Jo and Tom Anderson(Reed’s parents) recently asked me over to capture their family while all of their grandkids were in town. To be cautious, they moved into their pool house while their daughter and family quarantined in the main house upon arrival from the east coast.
