I offer complimentary services for birth photography as a special gift to my wedding clients. Births are full of that raw emotion, just like weddings. And, just like weddings, it takes a certain trust and comfort with the photographer to record these life-milestones in a sensitive, graceful, personal way while respecting family members and the process. How grateful I am to be trusted by these moms! I love getting to share in these amazing moments with my couples. A lifestyle session captures your family just as your family is. It is about letting go and just being yourselves–unscripted. It is about capturing images that are real and not perfect. Katrina was an adventurous bride, and now she’s an adventurous mama-to-be! Big smile, big heart, and big beautiful belly. Keith and Leslie are expecting their fourth child in June. This time they decided not to find out if they would be having a boy or girl. Since they already have one or more of each – Steve (7), Miles (4) and Aubriella (2) – this one’s all about the surprise. Although four children might sound like a lot of work, I can see why this couple enjoys a larger family; they simply take it all in their stride. My friends, Jill and Mike, had a baby! Jill has been a friend of mine for a long time and so I was honored to get to photograph her and her daughters, Piper (born on December 29) and Meadow, 8, at my home this month.
