I think this was smart as your photographer is with you all day long at your wedding and it’s important that a couple not only likes you but that they they love your work. Meg and Brandon knew that you don’t get to do important milestones like weddings, nor the photography, over again.
Look at this little whipper snapper- and at just three weeks Jack is already stretching his legs and ready to take on the world! Jack Banks Heacock is the precious first child of Rebekah and Nathan. Alex and Matt married just over 7 years ago at Fausel Ranch in Placerville and I was there to capture their wedding day celebration. It was a memorable day for me as their wedding party was comprised of two other couples who I had also photographed weddings of recently. Over the years I have had the distinct honor of being trusted to photograph numerous births, many of which are with previous wedding clients. Sweet Miss Madilynn was just about 6 months old and Mom and Dad decided it was time to capture this moment in time. Not quite sitting on her own yet, Dad decided to take her flying….LOL (see below). Well, since Miss Lily arrived about 6 weeks earlier than planned our Lake Tahoe maternity session ended up being inside Marshall hospital on the maternity level, during the birth. Well, not really…but sort of. I’ve been through alot with this family through the years, so we are able to sigh and then giggle to each other about this. Little Kinsley came into this world very quickly upon approaching the hospital a couple days before her due date. In fact, it was not even the hospital she was supposed to be born at. There are always great birth stories. Healthy, happy and now cared for on the outside by an adoring mom and dad, Kinsley gets to grow up in a beautiful home, full of love.
