Loved this intimate and romantic November wedding at the Wedgewood Sequoia.
The day began with a prayer for the bride and groom, Carol and Michael, led by Pastor, Tim Baker. Carol and Michael held hands on either side of a partially closed door as they listened, not wanting to see one another before the ceremony but still wanting that moment of connection before they walked the aisle as separate people for the last time. (So sweet.)
A group of around 30 friends and family were waiting on the beautiful Sequoia patio, to cheer them on. Meanwhile, Carol’s daughters, Sara and Jenna, joined the bridal party processional toward the patio’s redwood tree.
After the ceremony, the whole group took their seats in the Wedgewood’s dining room which was a real treat as, with many larger weddings, it’s rare to shoot a reception there. The warm and welcoming decor, perfectly accented in peacock colors by the Camino Flower shop, made for a really romantic location for Carol and Michael to spontaneously begin dancing together among their friends and family as they ate the fabulous food prepared by the house.
Carol and Michael are a warm and gracious couple and I so enjoyed the private feel of their wedding – just perfect for them.
