Carissa and Nick got married on a brisk day just before winter hit “full on” in Pollock Pines. They chose the Sierra Springs Clubhouse for their celebration and surrounded themselves with family and friends. What a beautiful location! Stunning trees, fields, fall colors…. I started shooting just before the ceremony and was able to capture Nick and the groomsmen as well as Carissa walking up the path outside with her dad. Carissa and Nick enjoyed a quick taste of champagne outside alone after their ceremony before rushing inside due to the brisk weather. The shooting continued through the first dance which was a swing dance that they had learned especially for their wedding. I loved it! The clubhouse was transformed into a festive winter wedding venue and you could feel all the love in the room for these two high school sweethearts.
