“On each wedding anniversary, take a picture of yourselves to keep inside this photo album.
In time, the photographs will tell the story of your marriage and your life together;
you may be surprised, through the years, by what you see.”
Each year, as it nears their anniversary I send each of my wedding couples a gift of an album that starts with an image from their engagement session and follows with one from their wedding. The idea is that they take a picture each year on their anniversary (or near it) and put it in the album to look at over the years. Jeff and I have kept up with this as well since our wedding and it makes for some great memories. Some years I’m pregnant, other years beards and funky hairstyles reemerge, and some years there are all four of us. This makes for a precious, little peek back in time.
Michelle and Tim, who I photographed last year just celebrated their first wedding anniversary by climbing Mt Shasta, and of course, they put an image of the two of them at the top in their album! Thank you Michelle and Tim for sharing these photos with me, and congratulations on both your anniversary and your adventures together!
