It’s always an honor when a family asks me to photograph them and even more so when it’s semi-annually over the last two decades. Love the Littles! Capturing families year after year is the most rewarding part of my job. So, of course, I had to dig a little to find some photographs of Jack when he was younger. Look at that cute face! I’m sure I have some, somewhere when he was even younger.
My husband and I moved to Pollock Pines when Jack was a toddler and it’s been fun watching him grow up the last two decades. All these years I’ve been saying, “What a great kid” and he really is except that it seems he’s not a kid anymore, well, at least not in age. Jack really is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.
Four years ago Jack started at Montana State University. He’s studying Natural Resources and Range Ecology. (I hear the skiing is great there too:) This spring he will graduate and head back to California to pursue forest and natural resource management- a chip off the old block. And just like that- from a young boy to a college graduate. I can’t believe it.
I enjoyed catching up with Jack over Thanksgiving break when we captured these photos in Coloma. Glad we’ll get to see you more often!
