I had a chance to again support the Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp this year when my friend Nina asked me to photograph their annual fundraiser. People that attend the annual Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp in Pollock Pines every summer are fun and creative people. That also goes for the folks that run and teach at the camp. That also goes for those that attend their annual fundraiser. It’s a great organization and I am proud to support them and the arts in our community.
Sugarloaf provides classes for 6th grade through high school students in Concert Bands, Visual Arts, Theater Arts, Creative Arts, Photography, and Jazz Bands to name a few. The fundraiser helps to provide scholarships for students who might not otherwise be able to attend. Attendees to the fundraiser had the chance to participate themselves in a few creative classes including: watercolor, wine tags, creative improv, and even a corsage making class taught by my friend Dottie from Camino Flower Shop who introduced me to Sugarloaf. I’ve been curious about this camp ever since I moved to the area back in 2000, and it seems that all of my most creative friends and colleagues are involved with it in one way or another. Only a couple more years till Jaz and Ember can join in the fun! Here are a few from the evening! If you would like to make a donation to this great cause, please contact them through their website. http://www.sugarloafcamp.com/

I would love to purchase a copy of the black and white of my daughter singing! How do I get one?
