Ahhh…Grace. A simply lovely, connected and so naturally beautiful, high school senior, getting ready to take on the world. And she will. I loved connecting with Grace, one on one, and getting the opportunity to experience and capture her with my camera. This was another one of those sessions when you smile as a photographer. We worked great together and I enjoyed every minute of our time together.
Grace attends University Charter Prep. On completion of high school she will attend college locally and then hopefully transfer to Chico State to become an elementary school teacher. Lucky kids who will be graced by her presence.
When Grace’s mom, Pam contacted me she said Grace was an “all natural, no make up kind of gal” and they wanted real photographs of her – where she looks like herself, not someone she dressed up to become on photo day…and yes, of course all those freckles! Sign me up! Many thanks to Karin Amann, who has been teaching Grace piano for years, for knowing we’d make a great team.
Grace, a self proclaimed feminist is looking for more peace in the world. If there was one thing she could change in the world it would be that she wants equal rights for all.
Wishing you only the best Grace… the world certainly needs more love and connection. Young people like you with big hearts keep me hopeful about our future. See you at the Women’s March this weekend in Sacramento!
