The most rewarding part of my job….

by Lisa Richmond

Ok, granted I get a bit nostalgic with these two, well, these three now. Enter Zoe. Tara and Tony purchased a Baby Package when they knew they were expecting. Their package came with three sessions throughout Zoe’s first year and a One Year Brag Book Album. For Zoe, her sessions were at newborn, 4 months(with her grandparents too) and at one year, plus they added a pregnancy session as well. Zoe just celebrated her first year of life and now we get to pick all of the favorites from each of the shoots to create their First Year memory album. I can hardly wait to get started-stay tuned! In creating this post, I already started putting some ideas together, well, because I can get a bit nostalgic with these three. I’ve known Tony and Tara since their engagement photographs before their 2007 wedding. I have had the privilege of getting to tag along and capture their memories and their growing love and family for more than 4 years now. This is the most rewarding part of my job- the part where I have to pinch myself when I call it “work”. And Zoe. WHAT A DOLL! Her smile and zest for life light up a room(or a riverside in this case) instantly. I swear, if every child were loved and cared for as much as Zoe is, this world would be a much better place. Zoe is a very, very lucky little girl. Enjoy your photographs and whoopee-Onward and upward 🙂 Love you guys!

Lori- Tony, Tara and Zoe ARE photogenic but I think the magic potion is our elongated photographic history and how well we connect. I guess how much I care about them shows through in my work. You are so sweet to take the time to write and I appreciate it! We are getting started on the One Year Brag Book! I hope to see you soon!

You are such a great photographer Lisa; I always relish the opportunity to see the latest photos of my daughter, Tony and Zoe. These three are wonderfully photogenic, but having witnessed you in action, I know how skilled you are at “provoking” them to optimize the capture of them at their best. You are no slouch either at creating beautiful and warm synopses of a day’s events.

Lisa,

The last time I saw you, you were a teenager (and Miss G. does not like a sentence that go “you you” – but I’ll let it pass this time.)

Your photography is totally amazing. It’s a big “WOW!” You express such joy. I even remember your interest in photography “way back when.” IF I ever get married (I’ve had around six proposals) I would have to fly you in for wedding photos.

Please see my pic as a Mocko Jumbie on my FB page. We really must catch up. You were always one of my favorite people at Chatham Hall.

Hugs!

Karla

P.S. If people knew how happy I was single, they’d all want to get divorced…LOL
